Two struggling teams in La Liga Athletic Bilbao and Valencia will face each other at San Mames Barria on Sunday evening as they both look for a win to turn things around.
Bilbao’s performance this season is an unexpected one, they have won just a game in the new season. They lost their first two opening games, and to make things worst, they lost 3-0 in the Europa league on Thursday night. Their only win came last weekend on the road against Deportivo La Coruna as they won 1-0. They are 14th in the league table with 3 points, and are hoping for the first home victory of the season to change their fortune.
Valencia continued their loosing streak last weekend, they lost 3-2 at home to Real Real Betis. The visitors took the lead in 38th minute via R. Castro, and Joaquin extended it to 2-0 in 54th minute. Rodrigo and E. Garay pulled level for Valencia in 75th and 78th minutes respectively, R. Castro’s second goal in the 90th minute condemned Valencia to defeat. Valencia didn’t only loose at home, they have a player sent off in the game (Enzo Perez). They will be hoping for a win in this game to lift themselves out of the bottom spot in the table.
