Bayern Munich return to their Bundesliga fixture on the back of a massive 5-0 win over Russian outfit FC Rostov in the mid-week Champions League fixture. Having won their opening two league matches, 6-0 against Bremen and 2-0 against Schalke, the Bavarian are sitting top of the league table. They are yet to concede a goal in five competitive matches this season, which includes 2-0 Super Cup victory over Dortmund and 2-0 DFB Pokal win over Carl-Zeiss Jena.
Ingolstadt on the other hand are still searching for their first win of the season. They earned a hard fought 1-1 draw in the opening league fixture at Hamburg. And then suffered a 2-0 loss to a brilliant Hertha Berlin. Things haven’t gone well for Markus Kauczinski, who took over as the new-head for this season.
