Karim Benzema made his 560th Real Madrid appearance in the match against Alavés to move clear in tenth place on the list of all-time appearances for the club.

The Frenchman eclipsed Michel’s record (559) and now sits just behind Pirri, who ended his career on 561. The list is headed by Raúl (741), followed by Casillas (725), Sanchís (710),

Ramos (671), Santillana (645), Hierro (601), Gento (600) and Camacho (577). Benzema has just begun his thirteenth season at Real Madrid, with his 560 appearances coming as follows:

384 in LaLiga, 111 in the Champions League, 44 in the Copa del Rey, 9 in the Spanish Super Cup, 8 in the Club World Cup and 4 in the European Super Cup. The Frenchman has also

hit 281 goals as a madridista, making him the fifth-highest scorer in the club’s history. He is now just 9 short of Santillana in fourth.
