Everything you need to know about our all Premier League FA Cup fifth round tie this week…

In a departure this season to make space for the mid-season player break last month, all FA Cup fifth matches are being played midweek, and they will all be decided on the night by extra-time or penalties if required.

The Blues have been handed the standout match, which pitches two of the Premier League’s top four together.

When and where
The match takes place on Tuesday 3 March at 7.45pm at Stamford Bridge.

Press conference
In his pre-match media conference on Monday afternoon, Frank Lampard reported on what sort of Chelsea team could be expected:

A team that gives everything to try and get through to the next round against a very strong Liverpool team. I believe in the squad. Sometimes you have to make changes. Of course you go game by game, case by case on those.

The FA Cup is a huge competition, he added. Evening games bring about a different atmosphere, and when you draw something like Liverpool it should be the game you all want to be involved in.

Latest Chelsea team news
N’Golo Kante, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham were all unavailable for the weekend game at Bournemouth and they remain out with Andreas Christensen a doubt with a small problem. Jorginho will be available for selection in the FA Cup despite bans ahead in the Premier League and Champions League.

Latest Liverpool team news
In their fourth round replay at Anfield against Shrewsbury, with an average age of 19 years and 102 days, Liverpool named their youngest ever starting XI.

Midfielders James Milner and Jordan Henderson were absent for their defeat at Watford on Saturday. Milner could return tomorrow but Henderson (hamstring) and Xherdan Shaqiri (calf) are expected to definitely be out.
