First of all, I wish you and your family well in these exceptional and difficult circumstances we are experiencing in our country and around the world.

I would also like to express, on behalf of all madridistas, my solidarity with those families who have been directly affected by this coronavirus pandemic. All our strength and courage to try to overcome the pain of those who are affected.

As you have learned through our various channels of communication, the club has taken all measures and precautions to help slow the spread of the coronavirus, strictly complying with all legal provisions and additional recommendations of the health authorities.

Real Madrid has proceeded to suspend sporting activity, both training and matches. The member service offices and the Tour of the Bernabéu have been closed, and all activities at the Real Madrid City and the Real Madrid Foundation have been cancelled.

However, and precisely because of this, it is time for us to remain strong and united in our values, so essential in the 118 years of Real Madrid’s history.

Now is also the time to especially emphasise the value of solidarity, strictly following the indications of the authorities and, above all, remaining at home.

Real Madrid continues to operate and remains open to its members through the online Member Services Office.

I would like to thank you all for your understanding. We are part of the best club in history, of a Real Madrid that never gives up and that represents the feeling of millions of people all over the world.

Together we are going to overcome this immense challenge. Today, more than ever, I send you my best wishes for you and your family. Take good care of yourselves and I hope that soon we will be able to meet again and get back to normal. We will do it together and with the certainty that we will enjoy Real Madrid again with the same passion and the same dreams as always. This feeling is our greatest strength.

A warm greeting,

Florentino Pérez
