Czech Republic started their FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with a goal-less draw against Northern Ireland at home. And they were comprehensively beaten by Germany 3-0 in the second match and currently sit 4th in the table with 1 point. In a group that contains two minnows San Marino and Azerbaijan alongside a poor and inconsistent Norway, it will be Czech Republic and Northern Ireland who will fight for the second spot in the table.
