Ahead of England’s FIFA World Cup opener against Tunisia on Monday, Dele believes the Three Lions self-confidence can lead them to success at Russia 2018.
The midfielder told FIFA.com the squad is confident they can beat anyone, including potential quarter-final opponents and World Cup holders, Germany.
We fancy ourselves against anyone we play, given the squad we’ve got and the players we’ve got – we’ve come here to win it, Dele said. You have to have the mentality that whoever we come up against, we can beat.

The Tottenham Hotspur man, however, admitted talk of how far England can progress is not a conversation topic in camp.
