Hoffenheim has been undefeated all-season although most of their games were drawn matches. The team is currently in the third spot of the German top flight table, nine points below top two teams Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig, after two straight draws.

Hoffenheim opened the scoring right in the third minute with a left-footed shot by forward Mark Uth from a pass by defender Benjamin Hubner with a through ball.

Meanwhile, Werder Bremen extended their unbeaten run to four games as they held Cologne to a 1-1 draw at the Weserstadion last Saturday, ESPN reported.
Latvian forward Artjoms Rudnevs opened the scoring for Cologne in the 28th minute while Bremen striker Serge Gnabry leveled the count in the 40th minute to end the half tied at 1-1.
Both sides were not able to score in the second half as the teams salvaged the draw and a share of a point in the overall standings.
