“We’ve been on the receiving end of criticism in recent times, but I feel it’s been excessive. We recently picked up two draws against Genk and Torino in games that we deserved to win.
“We weren’t clinical enough going forward, but we’ve been consistently performing well. We’re certain that if we continue down this path in terms of our displays, we can go far.
“It feels like everyone is against us at the moment. The atmosphere surrounding us isn’t exactly ideal, but we’re a solid and united squad. We continue to work hard in terms of forging our own path and feel stronger than before.
“We’ve spoken among ourselves and said that we want success. In this squad, there are players who’ve come through the youth ranks together, combined with some quality additions.
“This team is capable of competing with anyone and we’ll show that. I ask the fans to stay close to us because they’re a source of strength for us and we can certainly achieve great things together.
“In terms of my form, I’ve been working so hard. The aim is to get back to the top of my game by reaching the performance level that I was at before my injury. I’m confident and know it’ll take commitment and patience, but I know I still have so much to give to this club.
“I’ve felt like a Neapolitan since I arrived here. I grew up in this city and have experienced the best moments of my life here. I now want to repay everyone’s love and support by achieving our major targets.
