Roma can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Spanish club Granada CF for the loan of midfielder Maxime Gonalons.


Gonalons joins the Liga side until 30 June 2020. As part of the agreement, Granada are obbliged to make the deal permanent for a fee of €4 million – should certain clauses be met.

Gonalons, 30, joined Roma in the summer of 2017 – going on to make 23 appearances for the club in his first season.

He spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Sevilla.
