FC Internazionale Milano and Suning International decided to donate 300,000 medical masks and other healthcare products, such as protective garments and disinfectants, to Italian Civil Protection to support the fight against the Coronavirus emergency.

In this moment of nationwide emergency, Suning will also make use of their supply chain to support Italian Civil Protection and the whole country to purchase protective goods essential in coping with the emergency.

“We hope that China’s successful experience in fighting against the Coronavirus can help to stop the virus spreading quickly in Italy”, said Steven Zhang, president of FC Internazionale Milano and Suning International, “At the same time, we will continue and strengthen our contribution to support Italy in fighting against the emergency”.

By virtue of the historical friendship between Inter and China and due to the exceptional awareness and attention of Steven Zhang, Suning and Inter have been concretely supporting the fight against the spreading of the virus, firstly in China and now in Italy.

Suning and Inter donated 300,000 medical masks also to the city of Wuhan, to support the population and the authorities involved in the fight against the Coronavirus epidemic. The Suning Group has been providing relief since the start of the emergency, delivering free shipping services and emergency supplies from overseas to hospitals and local institutions.

Inter played the Milan Derby last 9th February wearing a special patch on their sleeves sending out a message to Wuhan and to the Chinese population, on the 5th March the Club donated 100,000 euros to the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences “L. Sacco” of Milan to support the research activity of this institution.
