The striker has commenced on-field rehabilitation as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury sustained at Southampton on New Year’s Day.
The early news wasn’t promising, with Jose initially suggesting Harry might only be fit for a couple of matches towards the end of the season.
However, the news was more positive as Jose addressed the media after training on Friday, ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash at home to Wolves (2pm).
“He’s a little ahead of schedule,” Jose reported. “It gives me a hope of instead of one or two matches, three, four or five, I don’t know, I’m speculating a little, but the feelings are good. He’s doing what he can do at this stage, but always with a good feeling. Everything is going well, so yes, positive.
“When he was injured, I said, for me, forget him. Then I told you (the media) ‘let’s see, one or two games’, but at this moment I have better hopes than that, so hopefully that feeling is right, and he can help us in the last part of the season. Let’s see.
“He’s obviously a great professional, a fighter and he wants to be back as soon as possible. What is that ‘as soon as possible’? I don’t know.”
