Juventus reduced the gap on leaders Milan by claiming a 3-1 win over AC Milan at the San Siro on Wednesday evening. Federico Chiesa scored a brace and Weston McKennie came off the bench to rattle the back of the net, as Juventus claimed their second consecutive victory in Serie A.

Andrea Pirlo was without the services of Juan Cuadrado and Alex Sandro after they tested positive for Coronavirus. Juventus needed just two minutes to force a save on Donnarumma, when Frabotta skipped past Dalot to pull back for Dybala who fired in at the near post. Milan responded with two chances of their own: Leao fires wide and Castillejo forced a save on Szczesny, before Frabotta then fired high of goal, wrapping up an exciting opening 10 minutes.
DYBALA – CHIESA PAIR UP FOR FAB GOAL
Donnarumma was beaten in the 15th minute but had the crossbar to thank for keeping it level when Chiesa fired in a powerful effort that smacked the upright! Juve’s pressure did result in the Bianconeri taking the lead in the 18th minute in spectacular fashion: Dybala teed up Chiesa perfectly with a fantastic backheel before Chiesa stroked into the far bottom corner.
CALABRIA PULLS BACK
The game was thrilling in every aspect, and Milan attempted to pull one back when Leao turned on the ball and fired in at the near post, forcing a brilliant save from Szczesny. Milan found the equalizer minutes before the break when they broke through on the counter and had Leao tee up Calabria who fired it into the roof of the net.
CHIESA GRABS THE LEAD
The second half started with Szczesny being called into action, as he palmed away Dalot’s powerful strike on the edge of the box. Juventus snatched the lead, in the 62nd minute, once again through a Dybala-Chiesa combo: the Argentine changed play and crossed the ball to Chiesa, who fired in an angled drive into the bottom far corner. Chiesa needed to be replaced immediately after due to injury, seeing him replaced by Kulusevski.
MCKENNIE WRAPS IT UP
Seconds after coming on McKennie forced an excellent save from Donnarumma at the near post, before then turning the scoreline to 3-1. Kulusevski went on a great run to the byline and pulled back for the American, who fired in from point-blank range to secure all three points!
