Flick can also count on Serge Gnabry for the game against the team currently lying twelfth in the Bundesliga. The Germany international was unable to train with the team at the training camp in Doha due to problems with his Achilles. However, in the last two days, the offensive all-rounder has completed every session and is available again for the record champions in Sunday’s game at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. “We are happy to have more options again and we’re off to Berlin in good spirits,” added Flick.
Flick is also confident about the injured players. World Cup winner Lucas Hernandez is “most advanced” and next week he should return to full training “step-by-step”.
