Juventus top this group with 11 points, Sevilla have 10 and Lyon 7 whilst Dynamo Zagreb have lost all their matches are are booked for fourth spot. Juve are already assured of a top two finish but Lyon can still collar Sevilla for second if they win this match by a margin of two clear goals.

Lyon Update

Lyon had to wait until the 72nd minute to score the only goal of the game away to Zagreb on Matchday 5, a win that keeps the in with a shout of qualifying. They already have third place (and Europa League qualification) secured so in essence, this is a shot to nothing at a bigger prize. They lost the first meeting with Sevilla 1-0 and went down at home to Juve by the same scoreline but they did draw 1-1 with Juve in Turin and they are not finished with yet.

Lyon are fifth in Ligue 1 and they have drawn only one of 15 league games, winning eight and losing six.

Sevilla Update

Sevilla started their Group H campaign at Juve and they came away with a point from a 0-0 draw. Since then they have edged out Lyon 1-0 and they were also 1-0 winners against Dinamo in Zagreb. A second meeting with Dinao saw Sevilla cruise to a 4-0 home win but they came unstuck last time out, losing 3-1 at home to Juve. Sevilla led that Matchday 5 clash 1-0 from the ninth to 45th minute and they had a man red carded on 36 minutes so there were excuses.

Sevilla lost 2-1 at Granada at the weekend but they have been going well in La Liga, currently in third spot, seven points behind Real Madrid and just one shy of Barca
