Hazard put them in the lead in the 35th minute of the first half, they held the lead till halftime. Freiburg came strong in the second half, Phillip’s Brace upturned the score and later Peterson’s goal in 88 minutes sealed the victory for Freiburg. Monchengladbach will hope to get back to winning ways when they face Manchester City.
