Chelsea survived a major test of their title credentials last weekend after they came from a goal behind to beat London rivals Tottenham, but the Blues now have another challenge on their hands when they take on Manchester City on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s side sit just one point behind Chelsea in the Premier League standings, and City will certainly be keen to try and end the west Londoners’ winning run of seven straight games.
DATE, TIME AND VENUE
City host Chelsea on Saturday 3 December at 12.30pm. The match will be played at the Etihad Stadium.
HOW TO FOLLOW
Sky Sports 1 will show the game from 11.30am onward, but Standard Sport will bring you team news and all the build-up as well as the action and reaction an hour before the match kicks off.
TEAM NEWS
John Terry will still be missing for Chelsea after the Blues captain suffered a muscular injury last week, which kept him out of the squad that beat Spurs on Saturday. Mikel John Obi also looks likely to be missing with a muscular injury.
Guardiola, meanwhile, will be without long-term absentee Vincent Kompany (knee) although Raheem Sterling (knock) and Fabian Delph (groin) could return.
