THE COUPE, A TEAM EFFORT
“We had two objectives for the end of the season: win the league in style – we’ve done that – and win the Coupe de France. It’s just here in front of us, and we have to give everything and be focussed to pick up this new trophy. Tomorrow, we have to win. We can of course point to the trophies we’ve already won this season – the Trophée des Champions and L1 – but we also know the club’s ambition.”

FAVOURITES?
“Being favourites or not, there isn’t a lot of difference. One thing counts: the truth out there on the pitch. Trophies won, history, all that is off the pitch. In a final, each team has a 50% chance of winning. All finals are difficult, each final has its context, it’s importance. Tomorrow, we have to win.”

THE CAPTAINCY
“I don’t know if I’ll be captain tomorrow, we’ll have to see if Thiago Silva is available or not. It’s a huge responsibility to wear the captain’s armband, it’s also a question of honour too with this Paris Saint-Germain shirt. In this role, I have to be available as possible for the squad. Being captain this season has been a great experience for me. Even when we have had tough times, you have to be there for your teammates and I think that has helped me improve a lot. You have to always try to be positive, because it’s when times are tough that you analyse things to improve, to go forward.”
