The Argentine had been decisive in the early stages of the win, providing an assist for Coutinho’s opener and then adding a second himself.

Messi could miss six matches

If the Barca number 10 is out for three weeks then he would miss the games against Inter Milan (24 October), Real Madrid (28 October), Cultural Leonesa (31 October), Rayo Vallecano (3 November), Inter Milan (6 November) and Betis (11 November).
