The central midfielder already has two caps for Brazil at Under-23 level and four for the Under-20 side.
Santos have set a huge €40m asking price on to Thiago Maia and so far Napoli are prepared to pay as much as €30m.
However, Chelsea are also interested and €40m would not be a problem for Antonio Conte’s club.
