The Watford striker has played against the 2018 World Cup winner and cannot understand why the Frenchman catches so much flak by the media.
Manchester United have found their midfield talisman. It is not Paul Pogba. But Bruno Fernandes, the man who has five Premier League outings under his belt.

This is what the media wants to make you believe. But professional players are having none of the criticism levied on Pogba.

The Manchester United youth academy graduate has been marred by injuries this season. However, the criticisms have a much longer history.Andre Gray, in an interview with Threesixtytv, was full of praise for the much-vaunted midfielder. He shared that in all his encounters with Pogba, he has found him an elusive presence in the middle of the park.

“People talk about Pogba and it annoys me,” Gray commented.

“Whenever I’ve played against Pogba, four or five times now, no-one can get near him.

“He might not set the world on fire and score top-corner goals.

“But you cannot get near the kid – he’s always somewhere you’re not and you can’t fathom it.

“Until you’re on the pitch with him, you’ll never understand. From the stands it’s like ‘oh, he’s turned him’.

“When you play the game and understand the midfield positions, you cannot fathom him.”

Watford are not having a great season. A poor one by any margins. They will hope Andre Gray can find his scoring boots and get them out of relegation battle once Premier League returns.

On the other hand, Paul Pogba would hope he returns to first team fold and help United qualify for Champions League.
