The Catalans are eager for the Brazilian to return to the Camp Nou and are said to be preparing another offensive this summer after last year’s failed attempt, but Paredes has it on good authority that Neymar is going nowhere.

“I talk to Neymar a lot, he always calls me,” Paredes told Fox Sports.”Now that we are locked up, he calls me with video and we talk.”He will continue with us,” he insisted.

The Argentine is happy at PSG and praised the level of quality within the side.

“I have an incredible squad alongside me,” Paredes said.”I enjoy training and playing with them, and sharing a dressing room with them every day.
“There is a very high standard [at PSG]. There are many leading figures here.”Despite Paredes’ comments, Neymar appears intent on leaving PSG to link up with his close friends Leo Messi and Luis Suarez, and his constant stalling of a new contract with the French champions seem to contradict the words of the Argentina international.
