BT Sport cameras set-up at Home Park as Plymouth get the reward for their incredible draw with Liverpool at Anfield with a money-spinning home tie with the Premier League super-powers. Much was made of The Reds youthful starting line-up last time, and it’ll be interesting to see how many are given a second-chance to impress on Wednesday.
Bookies have an away day nailed down as the winner of this match, but they made the same mistake last time and had their fingers burned, with the League Two side upsetting the odds. Will they do so again? Follow our betting tips and replay predictions.

Team News – Plymouth

League Two title-chasers Plymouth Argyle ruined the weekend of punters last time when leaving Anfield with an unexpected draw. Despite seeing very little of the ball all match, they stuck to their game-plan, masterly devised by manager Derek Adams, sat in tight, frustrated, and left with a well-deserved replay to show for their efforts.
Argyle were last seen on league duty enhancing their points tally to the tune of three points, thanks to an eye-catching 4-2 win over Stevenage, keeping them four-points behind leaders Doncaster, with a game in hand. Stevenage opened the scoring on two-minutes through Godden, and Schumacher got another in first-half stoppage-time, but that was matched, and passed, thanks to Slew, Jervis, Garita and Goodwillie.
All bookies want to go and take on Plymouth on Wednesday, but none more than Boylesports who offer up a market best price of 11/1. That’s massive and may pop up in the betting tips of dreamers and the get-rich-quick brigade.

Team News – Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp fielded what was Liverpool’s youngest-ever starting line-up when these sides last met, and after drawing 0-0, he came in for no end of criticism. Speaking after the match, Klopp thought it had more to do with his opponent’s defensive set-up, rather than his kids’ failure to break them down at home.
The Reds were no better in the EFL Cup last week, losing 1-0 away to Southampton in a semi-final clash that they really should have won, given their opponents’ form. Redmond got the goal that day and, with Liverpool unable to answer, it was two matches in-a-row with no goal scored. The Premier League side need a proven striker if they are to progress.
Bookmakers can’t get away from a Liverpool win on Wednesday and bet365 offer up 2/7. That’s tight enough, but there’s much shorter out there at the minute. Punters couldn’t expect to see anything else in this match though.

Plymouth vs Liverpool – FA Cup Betting Predictions

We can’t look past Liverpool here. Plymouth will sit deep again and look to frustrate their opponents in the early stages, but we have to give them the benefit of the doubt and trust that Klopp has now learned how the FA Cup works. Liverpool to score in both halves at 4/5 (Betfair) is the pick of my betting tips.
Looking for something at a bigger price and we dive into the correct score market. I am going to give a little try on 2-0 at 6/1 with Coral. That’s favourite in the market and makes perfect sense, with Liverpool struggling for goals at the minute. 2-0 is the next best of my predictions.
