It wasn’t supposed to be this hard for the French champions but with Unai Emery in charge the media are sharpening their knives and we have come to expect the unexpected. PSG have lost 2 games this season (it took them until February to do that last season). Something is missing and most fans will say it is Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Despite this the good news is that PSG are 4th and are just four points behind league leaders Nice. In the Champions League they may have won 3-1 against Ludogorets a team they were highly expected to beat, but they went a goal down and at 2-1 up for the Parisians Ludogorets missed a penalty. That game could have been very different.
French media were not happy with PSG after the 3-1 win, Edinson Cavani despite getting two goals continues to get negative attention and Angel Di Maria’s distribution of the ball was also under fire.
Hatem Ben Arfa didn’t play yet again although it looks like he is suffering from a foot injury, but honestly at this point it seems also that Emery and the new signing may have come together behind the scenes. Something isn’t right.
Bordeaux got booed last week as they could only draw 0-0 with Caen at home. They had a miserable 2 shots on goal the whole game.

Cavani is an angry player right now; he is scoring goals and still not impressing the media. If PSG play like a wounded beast we will see the team that destroyed Caen 6-0.
Bordeaux have won their last two games away. They can’t be written off but PSG should have too much for them here.
