Simeone and Koke on Monday held the pre-match press conference ahead of our clash against Juventus.
Our coach praised the Italian side.
“They are a very strong team with top players in every position. We have to stay calm, be humble and know that we’re playing a very strong side. It will be a great game,” Simeone said.
The Argentine insisted that the tie was far from over.
“These kinds of ties are divided in two halves, one at home and one away. We will try to take the match in the direction we want it to go,” our coach said.
Koke shared his thoughts ahead of the clash.
“We have to start the game well in order to qualify. We have a good result from the first leg but everything is still to play for. They’re going to try attack us in every way possible, but we’ve already played in other very difficult stadiums. We have 90 minutes ahead of us,” our midfielder said.
The Spaniard also urged the team to repeat the performance from the first leg.
“Juventus are very strong in the air. We played very well at the Wanda Metropolitano and we have to do so here as well,” Koke said.
