SSC Napoli vs Genoa Preview
Napoli will host Genoa for their Matchday 24 clash on Friday, just days before their all-important Champions League clash at Real Madrid. They have been in an amazing form since early November connecting a 17-match unbeaten streak and we’ll now back them to keep it up with a win at 2/7 with Ladbrokes.
After an unconvincing display against Palermo (and a 1-1 draw), Partenopei have outclassed Bologna coming into the Friday’s clash on the back of a 1-7 win there. They’ve been furious and dangerous attacks just kept mounting, so we expect them in a similar form on the day, motivated to maintain consistency through the difficult schedule ahead.
The visitors, on the other hand, haven’t had the best December and January. They haven’t won in their last eight matches, suffering six losses and earning just two draws in the process (2-2 against Crotone and 3-3 at Fiorentina). Reinvigorated Sassuolo snatched the points at Luigi Ferraris on Sunday, as Genoa travel to Napoli on the back of a 0-1 loss.
Genoa have netted at least a goal on each of their last three away days, though, and we do believe they’ll be able to find the net here too. While Over 2.5 goals FT has been ranked a banker bet by many (backed at 4/9 with bet365), but with Napoli conceding a lot of goals too, we’ll rather stick our necks for a Yes on Both teams to score at a more appealing 3/4 with the same bookie.

The teams have met four times over the past two years, and Genoa have been able to hold Napoli to goalless draws in both matches in front of the home fans (in November 2015 and September 2016) but Patenopei were more convincing at San Paolo bagging two wins in the process (2-1 in January 2015 and 3-1 in March 2016).
With their current spell of form, we do feel we’re in for a similarly comfortable win for the home side and we’ll go for a 3-1 correct score prediction at 10/1 with BetVictor – which could prove to be a lively longshot!
