On Tuesday FC Bayern took up preparations for Saturday evening’s DFB Cup final against Bayer Leverkusen. Thiago and Corentin Tolisso resumed parts of the squad programme at the Säbener Strasse. Thiago had undergone groin surgery after the DFB Cup semi-final against Eintracht Frankfurt. Tolisso, who is working towards his comeback after sustaining an ankle injury, was welcomed back with applause from his team-mates.

The duo joined the squad for various stabilisation and passing exercises. Thiago and Tolisso continued their individual rehab when their team-mates completed tactical drills and match situations. It remains to be seen whether they will be available for the cup final against Leverkusen.
