Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
Madrid were the better side for a lot of the game. Our play was too complicated, not fast enough, not simple enough. We lacked confidence, unlike Madrid. They showed why they had won the Champions League three times recently. We have an extraordinary goalkeeper in Keylor Navas, which isn’t illegal. We were lucky, that’s not illegal either. There were positives to take home: the attitude at the end of the game, and the quality of the players off the bench: Neymar, Pablo Sarabia and Draxler made the difference.

Keylor Navas (Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper)
It was a tough game against a great team. We didn’t have control of the game in the first half and were more attacking in the second. In the end, we got a draw, which is fair for both teams. I want to thank the fans for their warm welcome, they’re incredible moments. You always try to give your best, defend the shirt you’re wearing. Today, Paris Saint-Germain is my home and I’m going to do all I can. Speaking to RMC Sport 1

Marco Verratti (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
Few teams come here and win. We suffered. In the first half, we didn’t play our game. We sat back too much. Our second half was more courageous. We gave them quite a few chances, but we played as we know how. We’re happy. It’s our fifth game, we have four wins and a draw. We can certainly improve, but we’re on the right track. Keylor Navas? He made some very good saves. He’s not just being discovered in Paris. He’s won the Champions League three times in a row. He was extraordinary. Speaking to RMC Sport 1
