Team News – Tottenham

Emotions will be running high on Sunday for reasons other than the tie being a London Derby; White Hart Lane will host an FA Cup game for the last time as Spurs prepare to move to a new stadium in the 2018-19 season, and will play their home games at Wembley next season.
These two sides have not met since a 1990 clash in what was then known as ‘League Division One’, the top tier in England, where Spurs ran out 1-0 winners. Even worse for the travelling support is realising they haven’t beaten Tottenham in almost 80 years, and will need to produce the performance of their season to stop Pochettino’s fearsome unit.
In Harry Kane, Tottenham have arguably the league’s best striker. His rise to prominence has been swift and his range of qualities, be it his strength, his composure, his right foot, left foot or heading ability, leaves defences desperately scrambling to stop him. He has eight goals in his last four appearances and must be considered at 11/5 with Coral for a first goal scorer bet and 1/2 for an anytime goal with William Hill.
As for injuries, Danny Rose is the notable exclusion from Pochettino’s squad and isn’t expected to be back until April. The Argentine manager otherwise has a full squad to choose from and will name a strong side to maximise his chances of progression.
Team News – Millwall

Millwall’s solid form means they enter The Lane full of confidence, especially knowing that they have the ability to perform against the best sides in the country despite not even being in the league beneath Tottenham. Millwall dismissed Bournemouth, Watford and Premier League winners Leicester City by a combined 5-0 score line.
Veteran striker Steve Morison scored in two of his last three FA Cup games, both against Premier League sides, but it’s Lee Gregory who is tipped to start up front for The Lions. The Sheffield-born striker has three goals in his last two games, one of which was a 90th minute game-winning penalty. Gregory pays 22/5 with Net Bet for an anytime goal, an outsiders choice considering that he will likely be feeding off scraps for the entirety of the game, but worth a shout considering he’s already hit 14 goals this season.
Tottenham vs Millwall – FA Cup Tips and Betting Predictions

Take nothing away from Millwall’s accomplishments of knocking off three Premier League sides in a row, but they have not faced an opposition with the quality of Tottenham. Bournemouth, Watford and Leicester do not possess great depth and a quick glance of who those sides selected suggests a touch of underestimating going on. Pochettino knows his side can ill-afford such assumptions at this stage of the season and will rightly select a full-strength team to get the job done. Tottenham are priced at 1/6 with bet365 to win in 90 minutes, something I believe they will do to nil. Tottenham to win to nil pays 4/5 with bwin, while a ‘both teams to score – no’ option returns 7/10 with BetVictor.
How about this for a statistic: in their last 10 games, Millwall have conceded one goal. Perhaps that explains why there is decent money to be made on Tottenham to win to nil, because the bookies fancy Millwall’s chances of holding the game out until extra time. Once again, credit where credit is due, but I’m swimming directly against the tide by saying that Tottenham will score against Millwall, though I think it will be a tight contest. I’ll go with a 1-0 correct score, which is best covered by bet365 at 8/1. Under 2.5 goals also seems a sensible choice and yields 7/4 with BetStars.
