Weston McKennie broke the deadlock in the 25th minute, heading in from inside the six-yard box.

Christian Pulisic set up the goal with a brilliant technical display, receiving the ball near the corner on the left-attacking side before dribbling toward goal and working an angle for the cross. Pulisic sent an almost perfect ball to the back post for McKennie to put home.

Gevaro Nepomuceno looked dangerous throughout the night for Curacao, forcing U.S. GK Zack Steffen into fine saves in both halves of the game.

Curacao pressed with a purpose for most of the second 45, but couldn’t get the ball past Steffen, who produced his third clean-sheet of the tournament. (The U.S. has not allowed a goal in four games.)

Leandro Bacuna forced Steffen into his best save of the night in the 84th minute, Steffen pushing the ball over the bar after a blistering attempt from distance.

The win for the U.S. sets up a semifinal clash with Jamaica in Nashville on Wednesday night.
