For Valencia, Mat Ryan is still out of action which means Jaume will continue to deputise under the bar. Aymen Abdennour is another notable absentee with Ruben Vezo slated to come in his place. Sofiane Feghouli has recovered from a knock to his foot but Alcacer could start in his place.

For Malaga, Fernando Tissone and Recio are out of the game due to suspension. Nordin Amrabat is out due to injury and Charles could start the game as the lone striker for the visitors. Ignacio Camacho and Fornals could slot in the midfield.

Prediction

Valencia started poorly in La Liga with just two wins overall and just one win of their last four domestic fixtures. They, however, come on the back of a good scoring record having found the back of net in all of their last three contests across competitions.

Malaga ended a terrible run of form in their last round with a 3-1 victory over Real Sociedad – which was incidentally their first win of this campaign. Not surprisingly, those were the first goals of the campaign for the visitors. Continuing the momentum would be top priority for Malaga at the moment.

It is difficult to predict Valencia these days. With Malaga finding their feet, do not surprised if the visitors walk back with a point.
