COLOGNE – With just one day left until the game against Sevilla, Diego Godin joined Coach Conte and Samir Handanovic in the pre-match press conference for tomorrow night’s UEFA Europa League final, which will see the Nerazzurri in action at 21:00 CEST at the Stadion Köln in Germany.
You’ve both played in and won plenty of finals, what would you like to say to your teammates?
“I’m not giving them any advice, I’m working hard and trying and do what the Coach asks of me. All of us want the same thing: to win, and to do that we have to do everything we’ve prepared and play with our hearts, from the first whistle until the end of the game, facing the game as a team. We have to play as we’ve prepared in training plus something more, we have to do everything to win this game and take home the trophy, that’s what everyone wants; the team, the staff, the Club and all of the fans, who are by our side despite the situation.”
