Joan Jordán and Nema Gudelj were the two players chosen to appear alongside manager Julen Lopetegui at the pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s UEFA Europa League Final. Both players highlighted the “unity” that characterises the team, as well as showing complete confidence in their options tomorrow: “If we go into the match well as we have done many times, we can beat any opponent”, added Gudelj.

Jordán was the player chosen to speak first, speaking about the “pride” he feels ahead of playing in a final for Sevilla FC: “I’m very proud to play for this great club, for this great team. We’ve worked hard throughout the whole year, a beautiful, hard and exciting year. When I arrived here I knew I was coming to an exciting project. From then on, all that was left to do was working hard. We have grown from the first day, until today. Now we have 90 minutes left and we’re not thinking beyond them”.
