Bournemouth v Man City betting preview
AFC Bournemouth may feel they have enough quality to keep their heads above water in the relegation fight in the Premier League this season, which will please Eddie Howe given the pre-season comments that a ‘second season syndrome’ may see his side struggle this term, but that’s not to say they’re completely safe from the bottom three just yet.

Recent form has been poor and the Cherries come into this Monday Night Football clash with the illustrious Manchester City having failed to win any of their last six Premier League matches. As a result, they now sit in 14th place with the gap to the bottom three cut to just six points so they’ll be desperate for a win in this game at odds of 10/1 with bet365.

Manchester City are now ten points behind the current league leaders Chelsea in the chase for the Premier League title. Pep Guardiola’s men had started the season in tremendous form, picking up ten wins in their first ten competitive matches under the Spaniard, but since then they’ve struggled for consistency and as such, have fallen away slightly in the race for the title.

The Citizens have returned to form recently though and make the trip to Dorset for this Monday night showdown on the back of three consecutive wins, two thumping victories over Crystal Palace and West Ham and a dramatic last gasp win over Swansea City last weekend. We think their confidence is coming back and as such, they should win here at 4/9 with Ladbrokes.

Gabriel Jesus has enjoyed a blistering start to his Manchester City career. The Brazilian wonderkid has already displaced Sergio Aguero at the hilt of the Citizens’ attack and he’s scored four times in his first two Premier League games including that dramatic winner against Swansea City last time out. We can’t resist backing him for another goal here at 5/6 with bet365.

Bournemouth are always looking to play on the front foot and despite not managing a win in their last five league games, they’ve still racked up nine goals. The likes of Callum Wilson and Benik Afobe will cause the Citizens some troubles and we can see them finding the net against the shaky City backline. The hosts will find the net but the visitors will win so the match result and BTTS bet is priced at 15/8 with William Hill.

Recommended bets:
Man City to win and both teams to score
Gabriel Jesus to score at any time
