Everton coach Carlo Ancelotti has claimed Moise Kean has the capacity to do well in the Premier League: “He is a great talent.”

The former Juventus forward moved to Goodison Park last summer but has struggled to settle in England, prompting rumours of a return to Italy after only one season in the England.

But Ancelotti, who was appointed by the Toffees in December, has claimed the 20-year-old will prove a success on Merseyside.

“I believe that Moise Kean has many great qualities,” Ancelotti told Radio Radio. “He is a great talent and, as I said many times, today’s football must surely be based on talent.

“However, it must be supported by great character, professionalism and personality. He’s very young and a serious boy, who is always available.

“I’m sure he will do well.”

Kean has only started five times but appeared 23 times in the Premier League this term, contributing one goal and two assists.
