City were back hard at work today less than 12 hours after our 3-1 Champions League win over Porto.
And there was an added boost with the welcome sight of Kevin De Bruyne and Aymeric Laporte returning to the CFA training pitch.
Our Belgian midfielder and French central defender missed both last night’s 3-1 victory over Porto as well as last weekend’s Premier League win over Arsenal through injury.
But the pair have stepped up their recovery and were able to join their City colleagues as the squad went through their paces as the focus switches to Saturday’s lunchtime league trip to West Ham.
