Eden Hazard has been voted the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month for September

It is not a surprising outcome after the Belgian set English football alight with a string of scintillating performances last month, which included five league goals in four games.

Alongside his hat-trick against Cardiff, his second treble in a Chelsea shirt, the 27-year-old also netted against Bournemouth and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge as we maintained our unbeaten start to the season. He also displayed his usual high levels of skill and creativity, and Maurizio Sarri also highlighted the work he put in when we didn’t have the ball.

Hazard receives the award for the second time, having also picked it up in October 2016, a month before Diego Costa won it, the last Blues player to do so until now.
