Sunday’s battle will likely be decided in midfield, where the major differentials are found.
Crucially, the two top-scoring players, Mohamed Salah (£10.4m) and Raheem Sterling (£9.1m), are split between the two squads.
Triple Captain
Djole will be hoping that Salah ends a two-match run without goal, while also looking for contributions from Son Heung-min (£8.3m) and Paul Pogba (£7.9m).
Meanwhile, Nick will field Sterling, possibly alongside Dele Alli (£9.0m) and Willian (£7.0m).
Salah could be Djole’s Triple Captain, giving Nick a major dilemma.
The Egyptian only left his squad as recently as Gameweek 37.
That was a decision that helped him past semi-final opponent, Ukrainian manager Maksym Manlinovskyi.
The Liverpool midfielder and Ben Chilwell (£4.4m) made way for Sane and Jan Vertonghen (£6.1m), with the two new players combining for a total of 32 points.
Sterling value
The Manchester City winger has delivered a goal or an assist in seven of his last eight appearances.
Indeed, Sterling and Salah are the two most consistent FPL scorers and could be the captains in Sunday’s final.
Their performances will go a long way to deciding the victor.
