Freiburg vs Bayern Munich Preview

Freiburg is currently on the rise as the team is undefeated in the last four rounds of German top flight competitions. As a result, they have now climbed up to the eighth spot in the overall standings, only four points below the second and final Europa League qualifying berth presently held by sixth-place team Borussia Dortmund.

Compatriot Xabi Alonso then doubled the lead eight minutes later before Leipzig forward Emil Forsberg was sent off in the 30th minute with a hard foul on Bayern captain Philipp Lahm.
Polish striker Robert Lewandowski sealed the win with a penalty kick in the 45th minute as both squads went goalless in the second half.
