Juventus could move for Wolfsburg’s Julian Draxler, possibly in an exchange involving Simone Zaza.
The 22-year-old German was one of the Old Lady’s primary targets last year, but he ended up staying within the Bundesliga.
According to SportMediaset, the belated deal may still happen. Juventus would be happy to sign the player, but their massive expense to buy Gonzalo Higuain this summer means they’d prefer a low-cost operation.
For this reason they may offer an exchange with Zaza, who enjoys the consideration of the German club and is looking to step away from the Old Lady.
Draxler himself is looking for a way out of Wolfsburg: “I want to leave the club, I said as much to the directors two days after the Euro 2016 semi-final,” he told Bild.
