Kalidou Koulibaly has hailed the Napoli faithful for the part they played in Saturday’s win over Juventus.
The Senegal defender was speaking after his 86th-minute winner sent the crowd into raptures at the Stadio Maradona.
“This win is dedicated to the fans,” the 30-year-old explained. “I grabbed the camera because I wanted to capture their celebrations. They were brilliant.
“Having the fans there with us really energises us and at the end we were all happy today and could celebrate the win together.
“We gave everything out there to win this match but we have to keep it up now. Today was a big test for us and we responded superbly. We’re showing people what a great team we are. We have to keep working hard and going the extra yard for our team-mates.”
