Liverpool play Barcelona at the Wembley stadium in their final match of International Champions Cup 2016.

The Reds started their US tour with a 1-0 defeat against fellow Premiership side Chelsea, bounced back with a 2-0 win in their second match against AC Milan. They also appeared for a charity match with Roma at the Busch Stadium in Missouri on Monday, which they lost 1-2.

Jurgen Klopp managed team will be playing their eighth warm-up match when they meet Barcelona on Saturday. Out of the seven matches played so far, the Reds had won 5 and lost 2. They will conclude their preparations with a trip to Mainz this Sunday, before kicking off their Premier League campaign with an away game against Arsenal next week.

Barcelona won the two matches they played so far in the pre-season starting off with a 3-1 win against Celtic, which was followed by a 4-2 win against Leicester. The Blaugrana are playing all their pre-season games in Europe this term will play their final warm-up match against Sampdoria on Wednesday. They will begin their competitive season with the two legged Spanish Siper Cup fixture against Sevilla on 15th and 18th of August 2016.
