Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has delivered an honest assessment after Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Leeds.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side dominated the possession and chances in Yorkshire, but could not find a way to the goal in our first Premier League match at Elland Road in 18 years.

Reds skipper Harry Maguire had a couple of chances following well-worked set-pieces and was solid defensively as we kept our 13th clean sheet of the league campaign.

After his 49th United appearance of the campaign, our trusted captain analysed the encounter with Marcelo Balsa’s side.

“I think we created some good chances, enough to score but not enough [in the end],” Maguire told Sky Sports in his post-match interview.

“We knew how they were going to play, especially here. We felt it at Old Trafford, we capitalised on the spaces that they left. Our attacking players love a one versus one and today it wasn’t to be.

”We created a few chances, a couple good enough to score a goal. We kept them to a minimum and we were really good and solid. We just couldn’t find the cutting edge.“

United’s two best chances of the afternoon in Yorkshire came either side of the interval.
