Manchester United vs Arsenal

Competition: Premier League

Date: 19 November 2016

Kick-off: 13:30 CET

One of the all time big English derbies, the match between Arsenal and Manchester United takes on a different spin this time around as old foes Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho face off, but this time with the Portuguese man at the helm of a struggling club.

United’s season has been stuttering and embarrassingly lurching on as the Special One struggles to take hold in the Premier League. Even with the spending he wanted done, and the terms he needed set, Manchester United still find themselves in sixth, six points of the real title race between City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. United have suffered some bad losses, some indifferent draws, and even some sad wins, but a game against Arsenal will give them something to aim at.

Arsenal in the meantime have set themselves up as real title contenders. Although in their accustomed fourth spot, they are a mere two points off top of the table Liverpool. Looking very much like an Arsenal team of old, full of creativity and guile in attack, they have made up their points and also frustrated the bigger clubs. While their long standing win run has come to an end, it has been a while since Arsenal last tasted defeat. Wenger will also know that he could not bare giving up their winning run to old foe Mourinho.

Manchester United vs Arsenal: Prediction

After the first three games, things started to go south for United, and ever since then, loyal fans have been saying, it is going to turn around. But with even Europa League form looking poor, there really is no indication of that happening. It may well motivate the manager to be playing against Wenger, but in reality Arsenal are such an attacking threat they should win 2-0, maybe even 3-0.

Manchester United vs Arsenal: Tips

If you are going to back Arsenal, back them to score a few. It could go as high as three goals the way they are going and the way history dictates. Also, bet on Ozil or Walcott to have a goal as Sanchez is injured.
