Watch the best of Sadio Mane’s 45 Premier League goals in his three seasons at Anfield

Liverpool fans can look back on 28 June 2016 with fond memories as it was the day their club signed Sadio Mane.

The Senegal international joined Liverpool from Southampton exactly three years ago today and the Reds have been enjoying his goals ever since.

Jurgen Klopp had been prompted to sign the attacker after Mane hit double figures for goals in each of his first two Premier League seasons, helping Saints finished seventh and sixth.

And Klopp was not let down as his new signing flourished from his very first league appearance for Liverpool, scoring a spectacular solo debut goal in a 4-3 win at Arsenal.

Now 27, Mane has continued his run of hitting 10+ goals in each of his Premier League campaigns, with his best form coming last season.

He scored 22 goals, earning a share of the Golden Boot with team-mate Mohamed Salah and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Mane also helped the Reds win the UEFA Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur and will head into their 2019/20 season opener, at home to Norwich City, looking to add to his 45 Premier League goals for the club.
