French Ligue 2 side RC Lens will host The Gunners of England on Friday in a Club Friendly game at Stade Bollaert-Delelis (Lens)
Lens have been involved in just one club friendly game this summer, they were victorious in the game which was against a Belgium side. Lens fought so hard to beat Waasland-Beveren 2-1 at home on Wednesday 13th July.
The game was quite entertaining as the two teams waited till the second half of the game to break the deadlock. Zoubir of lens took the lead in 48′ mins, 9′ mins later Ampomah pulled it level for the Belgium side before Scaramozzino scored the winner for Lens in 78′ mins. Lens now hopes to replicate the performance against the Gunners on Friday.
On the other hand, Arsenal has a lot of club friendlies to play this summer, which includes games against MLS all stars and their rival Manchester City, But this game against the French side will be their first game in the pre-season friendlies. Arsenal are known to be good in pre-season tours and the fans hopes for a win as they kick-off the preparations for the upcoming season against Lens.
