Serie A clubs are demanding no Scudetto winner or relegations if the season stops again with neither mathematically decided.

All 20 top-flight sides held an assembly meeting this evening to discuss the FIGC’s plans for an algorithm to determine the 2019-20 season in the event of another coronavirus stoppage.

However, reports this evening claim 16 of them voted in favour of no title winner or relegations being declared, providing they were not already mathematically certain.

The other four teams chose to abstain, but it still points towards a huge majority for the 16 who did not.

A final decision on the algorithm is expected to be made during the next FIGC council on Monday.
