APPIANO GENTILE – Irreplaceable. Milan Skriniar is yet to miss a single minute for Inter in the league or in the Champions league.

Speaking of the league, Inter are back in action on Sunday against SPAL off the back of their fantastic win in Prague.

The focus is on the championship, the Slovak defender told Sky Sport: “The match against Slavia Prague was a very important one for us.

We’re delighted to have won it, but now we need to keep up that level of performance, we need the same results in the league.

It was a difficult match, we were in a bit of trouble. But we had the strength to find the back of the net.”

Inter’s next game in the Champions League will be against Barcelona: “Right now we need to be concentrating on the league, the match against SPAL is crucial.

We’ve got a lot of games ahead of us, we’re working really hard and we know that the most important match is always the next one.”

Lautaro and Lukaku’s current form is devastating for opponents: “They’re doing well, they play for the team.

They don’t just score goals, they work for everybody and they help out in every area of the pitch: it’s something extra for us. All of this comes from the Coach, from his winning mentality. We never give up: he’s told us what to do from day one.”

Inter are doing well in the league: “We need to concentrate on giving good performances, on growing and improving: we need to win as many games as possible. We’re a united group, definitely the strongest since I’ve been here at Inter: we can stay at the top.”

Skriniar is also adapting tactically: “Playing either on the left or the right isn’t a problem for me. I had never played in a back three before, but the Coach helps everybody, not just me. I’m improving. My future? I feel great here, we are a strong team, we all want to go forwards together.”
