Top three Manchester City transfer targets
Transfer market is getting hotter day-by-day as the Premier League season close to kick-start with 29 days more.
1) Leroy Sane
The Germany international is heavily linked to Man City this summer but must face war with Bayern Munich.
Sane, a quick and skilful winger is expected to be in Pep Guardiola’s fold for next season to bring confident and fluidity at wings alongside Raheem Sterling.
The 20-year-old has just a year remaining on his contract after penning three years at Schalke 04 in 2014 and understand £20m would be enough to bring to Etihad Stadium.
2) Joshua Kimmich
The 21-year-old is on the wishlist of Pep Guardiola following his impressive performance for Germany in the just ended Euro 2016 in France after replacing Howedes in the Northern Ireland game.
Kimmich was named in UEFA Euro squad of the tournament with brilliant display and versatility with high level of creativity.
“Kimmich for his versatility. “Joshua has enormous quality and is versatile in both attacking and defensive roles”, said praises from Horst Hrubesch Germany U21 coach.
Kimmich can also play as midfielder and it is understood he will be a backup to Pablo Zabaleta if he makes his way to Man City.
3) Moreno Marlos
A 19-year-old forward for Athletico Nacional is understood to have agreed terms with Man City.
Man United and Liverpool were eyeing the move but the Colombia international who can be deployed as winger is said to close a deal with the Citizens around £8.23m
Colombia Olympic football team head coach Carlos Restrepo confirmed to the media that Carlos Restrepo would not join the team for the Olympics due to Man City plans for him.
