The four madridistas are on a list of 100 players looking to win the award for the best Under-21 player in Europe.


Vinicius Jr., Brahim, Rodrygo and Lunin are all candidates for the Golden Boy award 2019, which is given to the best Under-21 football player in Europe by Tuttosport. The madridistas featured on the list of 100 players looking to win the award,

which is now in its 17th year. The shortlist will be whittled down each month until the 20 finalists are announced on 15 October. The winner will be voted for by 40 sports journalists from across Europe.

Vinicius Jr. and Brahim have just finished their first season with Real Madrid, while Rodrygo showed his quality at Santos, then returned to the Whites.

Lunin completed a successful loan spell at Leganés this season before being winning the Under-20 World Cup, where he was named as the best goalkeeper at the tournament.
